Menopause Coaching – Are you a woman who is in your 40’s and suffering? Have you already decided that “it must be the menopause” because so many celebrities are telling you that all women in this time of life feel dreadful, and we must all talk about how much we are struggling, and unite in our inevitable weight gain and “brain fog?”

Menopause coaching can be the missing piece of the jigsaw to help take you from feeling despair to helping you regain your midlife vitality and lust for life.

Please do not be too quick to batter down the door of your doctors and beg to have the hormones, that are naturally declining because you no longer need them, replaced. Please do not think that the one size fits all general HRT that you will get from your doctor, will be the same as what your favourite bouncy and skinny celebrities are accessing.

Celebrities who are so quick to tell you about their intimate health, are often profiteering greatly from doing so, with books or endorsements, and millions of pounds to be made from their reveals. They will also of course, be having their female health meticulously managed and balanced, by a Harley street specialist, at a cost of thousands of pounds, paid for by your commenting on, and liking their instagram.

The menopause is now a huge industry with big bucks to be made by everyone who jumps on board. Pharmaceutical companies will not fund studies on women who sail through the menopause – where would be the financial gain in those studies?

To find that daily quality exercise, whole food nutrition, meditation, mindset training, strength training, sleep and a youthful mindset are the key pillars to a wonderful and happy transition, would put them out of business….and to be fair it is not what most people want to hear either. Because this list takes effort: cutting alcohol: limiting processed foods: a daily commitment to looking after the wonder that is YOUR body. It is of course far easier to go to the doctors and ask for a magical patch or gel.

However, you do have a choice. HRT is an option, and can be a great choice for many, but ideally it is better as the last option. The one that you turn to when you have already tried the natural approaches.

If you have been on birth control for a prolonged period, often the change of weening off it can be what is making you feel many of your symptoms. “Every ovulatory cycle, is like a deposit in the bank of long term health.” (Lara Briden, The Hormone Repair Manual). The sooner and more of your life you can manage without birth control and fake pill bleeds, rather than natural cycles – the better,
